Flaherty’s self catering accommodation is in an attractive, recently restored, character stone building in the centre of Kinnitty village in the heart of rural Ireland. This comfortable accommodation, maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, provides a pleasant base for touring County Offaly and central Ireland. |

The pain-staking restoration process has resulted in a modern house with the original stone surrounded sash windows making an attractive feature. The restoration has skilfully maintained the older characteristics of the building and combined them with comfortable, modern, guest facilities. |

This beautifully decorated house has three bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities of shower, washbasin and WC. Two of the bedrooms are double en-suite, the third room has a double bed and an additional single bed and an en-suite. The living/dining room is a beautifully decorated room seating approximately eight people at the dining table and with colour TV, DVD, settee and armchairs. Off this room is the fully fitted kitchen with all modern conveniences including a dishwasher and microwave. There is a laundry room at the back housing the washing machine and tumble dryer.

The property is in the village centre, which lies in the foothills of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Within walking distance are shops, pubs, restaurants and the church, and Kinnitty Castle is within two kilometres. The famous Birr Castle and demesne are within 10 kilometres. The beautiful local area offers a wealth of activities including good walking, horse riding and golf, and, being at the centre of the Irish Midlands, is central for many major cities including Dublin and Limerick. |
