This beautifully situated, distinctive house lies on the shores of Lough Corrib overlooking Baurisheen Bay in a unique, private position on a narrow peninsula with the lake shore on both sides, just yards from garden. Available: April, May, June and September.

Interior

The living accommodation comprises a spacious living/dining area with adjoining compact kitchen. This is well equipped with cooker, microwave, dishwasher and all the essentials. The bedroom arrangement is ideal for families with one double bedroom, two single rooms and a twin bunk bedroom. Bathroom and shower/toilet room. Storage heaters throughout the house.

Outside

A boat and canoe are available free of charge with house. The well maintained front and rear gardens have the advantage of overlooking the lake. Two piers on either side make it ideal for fishing, boating, canoeing and swimming. It is an extremely scenic and private location

Area

The local village of Oughterard, 2km away, has many hotels, restaurants, shops and pubs. An indoor swimming pool is situated in a nearby hotel and a top class golf course lies just five minutes from the village. Horse riding also available. The house is 25km west of Galway city and within reach of the west coast.
