This traditional Irish cottage offers coarse fishing on site. It is an ideal location from which to tour south east Ireland and the west of Ireland. Horse riding, horse racing, golf, mountain cycling and a swimming pool are all available locally. A traditional Irish Pub with music is 14 km away, as is the Rock of Cashel. Cahir Castle, Swiss Cottage and Galtee Mountain walks can all be enjoyed locally. County Tipperary (Contae
Thiobraid Árann in Irish) is a county in the Republic of Ireland, and
situated in the province of Munster. Tipperary was one of the first Irish
counties to be established in the 13th century and is sometimes referred to
as the Premier County, a description attributed to Thomas Davis,
Editor of The Nation newspaper in the 1840s as a tribute to the
nationalistic feeling in Tipperary and said that "where Tipperary leads,
Ireland follows". |
