This holiday home offers an airy living area, a spacious, well equipped kitchen, utility room, a separate dining room, 6 bedrooms, 3 bath/shower rooms and an extensive garden.
The spacious living area includes a flat screen TV and DVD combo with a free standing solid fuel burner. The kitchen comprises a breakfast bar, gas hob and a range of kitchen appliances, while the utility room contains a large American style fridge freezer, the electric oven and washing machine.
The 6 bedrooms are spread over the ground floor and first floor. Two downstairs double bedrooms share the ground floor wet-room, while a further 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom upstairs share the large bathroom. The Master bedroom has its own en-suite facilities.
This big house is fully central heated with linen, gas, electricity and solid fuels supplied free of charge.
Local area
The nearby village of Clonmany, 5 miles distant, is situated in the north east of Inishowen the most northerly peninsula in Ireland within the same Parish as Ballyliffin. The house is only a 10 minute drive to Ballyliffin Golf Club and nearby eateries. The area is renowned for its rugged natural beauty, its beaches, historic landmarks and traditional Irish pubs.
Within walking distance are the local shop and pub, with the well known Rusty Nail Pub and three beaches nearby.
Mamore Gap takes the traveller on a long, winding path to spectacular panoramic views f the Inishowen and Fanad Peninsulas. The Mamore Gap overlooks the area with spectacular views of Urris.
The Greencastle Ferry service is only 45 minutes drive away. Sites such as the Giants Causeway and Malin Head, the most northerly point in Ireland can be easily reached by car.
Rambling hills provide good walking for all abilities and ravaged sea cliffs, scenic loughs and numerous fishing rivers offer a wide variety of pursuits for those who enjoy the great outdoors.
The annual summer festival celebrates local traditions and culture and provides entertainment for the entire family.
