This self catering cottage is set in about half an acre of well cared for gardens, in a quiet location, with glorious views over Kenmare Bay, McGillicuddy Reeks and the Killarney Mountains. It provides a fantastic base from which to explore the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula. Offering generous accommodation for six it is perfect for family holidays. |

The holiday cottage is light and attractively furnished, in contemporary style. The large entrance hall leads to all rooms in the house. The kitchen/dining room is well equipped with all requirements for a self catering holiday. The oak table comfortably seats 6 people on upholstered chairs. From the kitchen the conservatory leads off, with comfortable seating and wonderful views across the Bay.
The sitting room has an open fire, with yet more wonderful views from all three windows. It comfortably seats up to six with facilities including a TV, Video, DVD player, CD/Radio, many games, maps and books on the area. There is also a laundry room housing the washer/dryer. There are three bedrooms. The king-sized bedroom has en-suite facilities, as does the twin bedroom while the third, a double bedded room has the use of a bathroom across the hallway. All linens and towels are provided. The property has only been let since 2006 and has high quality, new furniture throughout. Security deposit of 300 Euros required. |

The approximately half an acre of gardens, includes a deck leading from the conservatory and sitting room, which provides a wonderful viewing platform for the Bay and Mountains and there is ample parking for cars. |

The property is 2-3km outside Kenmare town, which has been named in lists of the top places to live in the world. The town offers a wide selection of bars and restaurants and two local hotels, offering spa facilities along with fine dining. The house provides a fantastic base from which to explore the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula. It is in a quiet location with glorious views and is a wonderful place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the glorious Irish countryside. Golf, fishing, cycling, hiking, watersports and horse riding are all within a 5 minute drive of the house. There is a good pub within 5-10 minutes walk. Killarney is within 40 minutes drive, boasting many more hotels, restaurants and amenities, along with Muckross House and Gardens. |
