	Killeen Cottage is a traditional Irish stone self catering holiday cottage set in the heart of the County Mayo countryside in an extremely quiet and secluded location. It is ideally located for British visitors and those coming from the UK being only 10 minutes from West of Ireland Knock Airport, where daily flights bring visitors from many airports in Britain.

	Interior



	Killeen Cottage is personally cared for by the owners, who live locally. They are anxious that their guests should have a pleasant and enjoyable stay so the cottage has been newly double glazed and is centrally heated. It is comfortably furnished throughout with all the furniture and furnishings, curtains and carpets new or nearly new and of the best quality. The three bedrooms have high ceilings. The largest, sunny room contains a king-size bed with bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The second bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The third bedroom has bunk beds making it suitable for children up to 10 years of age. The living room is spacious and inviting with two settees, two armchairs, colour TV, DVD player and VCR. There is a natural stone fireplace with an electric coal-effect fire for instant heat. The kitchen is fully fitted with a washer/dryer, microwave and fridge freezer and opens, through an archway, to the dining room. The bathroom has a traditional white suite with an electric shower over the bath. The hall, the rear hall, bathroom, kitchen and dining room have laminate floors while the living room and all three bedrooms are carpeted. All linen and towels are supplied. Pets are welcome.

	Outside

	Outside a large raised decking area is perfect for outdoor entertaining. It is completely private with views over the back garden and the fields beyond. At the front is ample parking for two or more cars.

	Local area

	This cottage has easy access to the towns of Swinford and Charlestown where a good selection of pubs, shops and restaurants may be found. Car hire, at competitive rates, is available from the airport, 10 minutes away. It is only a short drive to the renowned salmon fishing river, the Moy, and to numerous lakes for which the area is renowned. Added to these are the many attractions of Mayo and the neighbouring counties of Roscommon, Sligo and Galway.
