Lough Ine House

This stunning Regency House is set on the shores of Lough Ine, which is known as one of the most beautiful, intriguing and romantic places in all Ireland. Six Hectares of gardens surround the house and provide a stunning setting for adults and children alike. It is in a league of its own.

Elegantly furnished, for comfortable country life, large sofas, polished oak floors and a vine-filled conservatory all add to the particular charm of this house. Sun pours through the French doors in the interconnecting reception rooms that overlook the garden.

While unwinding in the charming drawing room, guests can enjoy the spectacular views of the sea lough and the surrounding hills. The beautifully furnished dining room, overlooking the park, and the sea, is a perfect place for relaxed dining for up to 12 guests. There is a fully equipped kitchen.

Also on the ground floor are two wood panelled twin bedrooms and two bathrooms each with bath and shower. A separate washing and ironing room is provided.

From the elegant hall, a lovely curved staircase leads you to the first floor where there are 3 further bedrooms, one with a four poster bed, and a large bathroom. All rooms are immaculately decorated with period furniture in the style of the period of the house with panelling, toile or material on the walls - they each have their own style. The main bedrooms overlook the sea, while the third charming bedroom looks over the gardens.

The surrounding Estate has meandering paths, providing opportunity for exploring, reflecting or just enjoying nature.

Irish Rose Cottage

The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances, leaving you wanting nothing as you prepare your big Irish breakfast in the mornings!

There is a dining area that seats six leading off the kitchen in an open plan living arrangement.

The master bedroom upstairs is large and spacious, which includes an ensuite. Bedroom 2 has three single beds with plenty of room. Bedroom 3 has another double bed.

Outside the backdoor a lovely, private terrace has been built providing an ideal setting to make use of the outdoor BBQ and relaxing in the natural suntrap on the garden furniture. A steep hill backing onto rural farmland guarantees privacy and seclusion.

Irish Rose Cottage is just steps away from the popular Blue Flag beach of Tragumna. The famous Skibbereen Eagle pub is only a three minute walk along the coastline.
