	Seal Rock Cottage is a luxury self catering cottage offering superior holiday accommodation with panoramic ocean views. This newly built, 1400 sq foot, luxury stone cottage is in a stunning oceanfront location, in one acre of grounds leading to the water’s edge, a terrace and private beach

	Seal Rock Cottage is situated on Rossmore Island - connected to the famous Ring of Kerry by an ancient stone bridge – and this marvellous natural setting is perfectly complemented by this craftsman made, interior designed property. The inside of this luxury cottage has been planned by Andrew Burch, the acclaimed Welsh Interior Designer and the accommodation includes: a sitting room, designed to be the quiet room with library and games cupboard with an open, peat burning fire; a sun room with a flat screen home entertainment system, cast iron stove and stunning ocean views. Interior photos pending A dining area leads to the luxury kitchen, fully equipped with Siemens American style fridge/freezer, Siemens dishwasher and Zanussi stainless steel oven and hob; while the Siemens washing machine and separate tumble dryer are housed in the separate laundry room with a downstairs cloakroom beyond. Each of the two ocean view bedrooms has a flat screen television and DVD player. One has a contemporary en-suite bathroom with power shower and the other has an adjacent bathroom.

	Outside


	The grounds are sympathetically landscaped for maximum appreciation of the panoramic island, mountain and ocean views and to retain many of the existing natural features including a stream, mini-waterfalls and pools. The one acre grounds lead to the water’s edge with a path following the stream down to the ocean, over a bridge ending at a waterside terrace and private beach. Guests may sit, relax and enjoy the spectacular views and observe seals and sea otters basking on the rocks. The private beach, reached by steps from the terrace is suitable for fishing, bathing or the landing of small craft.

	Seal Rock Cottage is situated on Rossmore Island - connected to the famous Ring of Kerry by an ancient stone bridge - and lies 5 miles from Sneem and 11 miles from the gourmet town of Kenmare, renowned for its fine-dining restaurants and music-filled traditional pubs (a mere 15 minutes away). Beyond the nearby McGillycuddy’s Reeks lie the famous lakes and town of Killarney – a mere one hour’s drive. Also within 90 minutes are the world class golf courses of the Ring of Kerry (10 minutes), Tralee, Ballybunion, Dooks and Waterville. The region has unequalled scenery and because the shore is washed by the Gulf Stream, the area enjoys a mild climate where tropical plants flourish outdoors. The Ring of Kerry follows the coastline and is one of the most dramatic scenic drives in Europe.
