Backing onto the Kenmare River |

This lovely, private self catering holiday cottage is beautifully located, backing onto the Kenmare River. Set in a pretty lush garden the cottage has wonderful river and mountain views from the main rooms and is furnished and equipped to a good standard, with many furnishings provided new in 2005. |

The cottage interior is spacious, offering ample accommodation for six guests. There are polished wood floors with rugs in most rooms. The lounge has comfortable seating with a couch, occasional chairs, book shelves, an open fireplace and views directly out over the river. A feature archway leads into the double aspect dining room where a pine table seats six for formal dining with lovely views over the river and the garden. The kitchen has modern fitted cupboards and an Aga range cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer. A second seating area is provided in the sun room. The three bedrooms comprise two rooms with double beds, one with river views, and a twin bedroom. In addition there are three full bathrooms. The cottage benefits from full central heating. |

The cottage enjoys the semi-tropical climate of the area and the lush garden has a wealth of mature trees and a lawned area. Parking is provided. |

The villages of Sneem and Kenmare are both nearby, as is Parknasilla, just three minutes away. Local facilities include a golf course. This is the most majestic section of the "Ring of Kerry", and the cottage is ideally placed for touring the area. Sneem is one of the most colourful, picturesque villages in Ireland with rainbow coloured shops, providing good amenities for provisions, Quills Irish linen and six pubs serving fine fare for guests who choose not to cook. |
